This is all sorts of ridiculous regarding photography in public places. Amtrak has never had a great track (har har) record regarding customer service. I remember back in ‘03 I took the Empire Builder from Chicago to Minneapolis during the winter. What should’ve been a simple 10 hour ride (with stops) turned out to be a 24+ hour disaster after bad weather + the train hitting something...
